American Legion Auxiliary Unit 10
President's Message
Unit 10 advocates for veterans and works to enhance their lives as well as the lives of all military on active duty and their families.
Events are held throughout the year to raise funds for many projects including (but not limited to) those listed here:
Provide continuing education scholarships to graduating high school senior girls who are military dependents
Create needed quilts and other items requested by care facilities, particularly the Oregon Veterans Home in Lebanon.
Support local organizations for children and youth in need such as ABC House, CASA, Jackson Street Youth Services and Ophelia’s Place
Members also volunteer to assist with Post-sponsored events and to staff the Post’s Club (meaning the kitchen) for breakfast throughout the week, special events for members and the community as well as weekly Bingo.
Meetings are held on the second Monday of each month (September through June) beginning at 6 p.m. at the Post. Membership is open to all spouses (regardless of gender) of current American Legion members who served from December 7, 1941 to date or spouses of deceased veterans.
Thank you for supporting our Veterans, their families and the community!
