RIDE FOR THE ALIVE

June 2-11, 2014 ALR WESTERN ROMP

The Legion Riders made their first ALR Western Romp to Livingston, Montana. It was a long trip but other than Charlie's bike mishap, it was a good one. It was a good opportunity to meet some of the other riders from the Western States. The next Romp will be held in Arizona.

July 10-13 the Legion Riders will be participating in the Wellness Summit and Veterans Pow Wow at Grand Ronde. Both of these events are open to all veterans.

August 30 the Legion Riders will be riding to honor veterans who have served their country with honor and continue to serve our veterans, above and beyond the call. The ride will start at Post 180 in Milwaukee and end at Post 99 in Seaside. We need to show our veterans that we care about them while they are still here with us to appreciate it. Please join us. You don't have to ride a motorcycle to go on this ride!

Look for the Legion Riders in the Albany Veterans Parade this November!

We are also collecting cans and bottles for recycling which will go into our general fund for our Easter & Christmas visits to the local veterans and to other community projects we have planned for this year.
