Post 10 Amateur Radio Station

The station is available for use by Post 10 members (Legion, Auxiliary, Sons of the American Legion and Legion Riders) holding a valid Amateur Radio License, verified by the Command Office, as well as by our Scouts and Cub Scouts who wish to earn their Radio Merit Badge and maybe even take the Technician License Exam. 

Additionally, this station will be made available when called upon by Linn County Emergency Management.

 All operators must first check-in with the Command Office to gain access to the station equipment. Control Operators will be using their own callsigns and license privileges.

 The transceivers are an Icom IC-7300 and an Icom IC-2730A. The antennas are an Alpha Antenna 10-80m 60-foot J-Pole Sr. end-fed HF antenna and a Diamond X-50 VHF/UHF vertical antenna. Additional equipment may be added as deemed necessary.
